GV Food

Grain Valley Food Industries Sdn Bhd (GV Food) is a wholly-owned Bumiputera Muslim company and was incorporated in Malaysia on March 28, 2016. It was previously known as Bidara Rice Sdn Bhd and now operates under a new name through a rebranding program. GV Food now emerges alongside its three main brands: Bidara, Tarboosh and Warda.

Our main objective is to increase stakeholder value by making this company a leading and foremost producer and importer of food products in Malaysia and globally. We continuously strive to improve our achievements consistently and persistently.

GV Food is founded and led by a team of individuals with extensive experience in the rice industry. Based on their experience and expertise, they have successfully enhanced the company's capabilities to penetrate the domestic market.

Located in Section 15, Shah Alam, Selangor, GV Food holds valid operating licenses issued by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP), the Paddy and Rice Control Authority (KSPB), the Shah Alam City Council (MBSA), as well as Halal certification from the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM).

Import and Export

GV Food operates in 3 warehouses for storage, packaging, and manufacturing activities for its three main products: Bidara Rice, Tarboosh Wheat Flour, and Warda Wheat Flour. GV Food's primary focus is to be a wholesaler and supplier of high-grade and high-quality rice imported specifically from Turkey. It does not contain any whitening agent (Benzoyl Peroxide) to meet local market demand.

Public Sector Collaboration

As part of its efforts to enhance its service offerings to customers, GV Food also acts as a distribution partner for other basic necessity products such as CSR (sugar), Jalen, Adabi, Inazul (rice noodles), Saji, and others.

In addition to meeting demands from the supply and retail sectors, GV Food also diversifies its services through collaborations with the public sector in projects such as providing charity boxes (donation boxes), repackaging services for rice and wheat flour, as well as packaging of rice-based souvenir products.
